Dr. Yvonne Doyle, director at Public Health England, said on Wednesday that officials have seen a slight uptick in motor vehicle traffic, which she called a “slightly concerning” trend as people are told to stay at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Doyle also said there is a rapid decline in public transit use within the United Kingdom.
