Toronto’s general manager of emergency management Matthew Pegg said on Tuesday that on April 1, the city would deploy approximately 60 additional by-law enforcement officers to enforce the COVID-19-related park amenities closures. The officers will focus on “hot spots” where they see the most activity for non-compliance, said Pegg.
