On Monday, Toronto Mayor John Tory warned that if people are caught defying city by-laws by continuing to use city parks and amenities closed due to COVID-19, they could be fined a minimum of $750. Tory said by-law officers and police will be conducted blitzes at public parks to ensure these rules are followed.
