Associate chief medical officer of health Dr. Barbara Yaffe said on Monday that if health care workers are performing their job in a long-term care facility that is experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak, they should be wearing personal protective equipment. This was said in response to reports that some workers in long-term care facilities were being told not to wear masks on shift.
