Coronavirus outbreak: Ontario health official urges workers to wear protective equipment in outbreak zones

Associate chief medical officer of health Dr. Barbara Yaffe said on Monday that if health care workers are performing their job in a long-term care facility that is experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak, they should be wearing personal protective equipment. This was said in response to reports that some workers in long-term care facilities were being told not to wear masks on shift.
