U.S. President Donald Trump spoke about New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s calls for more ventilators, saying he hopes the state’s estimates of how many devices are needed are high and not as many are needed. He also criticized some governors who have in turn taken issue with his administration’s response, saying they needed to be more appreciative. Trump said when they take issue with response, those governors are criticizing the workers trying to help the country through the pandemic.
