Coronavirus outbreak: New York governor says hospitals will be overwhelmed

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo told reporters at a news conference on Thursday that almost “any realistic scenario” in the COVID-19 pandemic will still overwhelm the state’s existing hospital capacity, and the goal was to add hospital beds wherever it could.
