Coronavirus outbreak: Trudeau names Kirsten Hillman Canada’s new ambassador to the U.S.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has named Kirsten Hillman as Canada’s new ambassador to Washington. She’s the first woman who hold the post on a full-time basis. Hillman played a central role in the 13-month negotiations on a new North American Free Trade Agreement and was involved in talks to keep the U-S border open to trade and commerce.
