Dr. Eileen De Villa, Toronto’s medical officer of health, said during Wednesday’s COVID-19 briefing that there are now 319 cases of COVID-19 in Toronto, 39 new cases since Tuesday.
Of the total cases in Toronto, De Villa said that 22 cases have required hospitalization and approximately 16 per cent are being attributed to community spread.
