Coronavirus outbreak: Biden calls Trump’s Easter deadline for end to U.S. shutdown ‘arbitrary’

Former U.S. vice president and Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden on Wednesday took aim at President Donald Trump for his handling of the novel coronavirus pandemic in the U.S., calling the Easter deadline he set for reopening U.S. businesses “arbitrary.” He said the only way to “get Americans back to work” is to end the public health crisis.
