Vancouver resident Emilio Merritt is still in shock that he ended up with COVID-19. He doesn’t even know how he got it and doctors suggest he may have picked it up possibly at a gas station or while he was grocery shopping. He’s only in his thirties but suffers from asthma and says the experience of having the novel coronavirus has been scary. He started off with mild symptoms but things quickly escalated since last week.
