Speaking to reporters in Ottawa on Wednesday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said his government recognizes that Canada’s incarcerated population is at a higher risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19, but was not considering the release of any prisoners at this point, but reiterated that “nothing is off the table.”
