Ontario associate chief medical officer Dr. Barbara Yaffe said on Tuesday that a man in his 90s had become the province’s latest death from COVID-19 and that 85 new cases were confirmed in the province, with the total number at 588. She also said they could comfortably say 13 per cent of the cases identified had no connection to travel or close contact with people diagnosed were transmitted in the community.
