A family of six escaped the blaze as firefighters arrived on scene to a fully engulfed home. All three stations from Hamilton Township Fire Department responded to the address on Burnham Street North. It is believed the fire started from an open door to the wood stove at the rear of the residence.
The building and contents were not insured but there is a Go Fund Me for the family.
