During a Coronavirus Task Force briefing on Friday, U.S. secretary of state Mike Pompeo announced the closure of the U.S.-Mexico border to non-essential travel, saying both countries have agreed to restrict movement across their borders to help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus. This will not affect trade, Pompeo assured.
