Democratic presidential hopeful, Sen. Bernie Sanders, on Tuesday called for extended Medicare coverage for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic, so that every American has all of their healthcare bills covered as the crisis continues to unfold across the U.S. Sanders said the measure would be distinct from “Medicare for all.”
