The World Health Organization’s director-general, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said on Monday that approximately 110,000 people had donated over US$19 million to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response fund, which will help in purchasing medical supplies. Ghebreyesus added that they are urging people to help others by not hoarding food, medical equipment and other supplies.
