During a coronavirus task force briefing on Sunday, U.S. President Donald Trump advised U.S. citizens who were purchasing or hoarding large quantities of food and supplies due to the COVID-19 outbreak to “relax” and “take it easy.” He added that retailers will work with the federal government to “ensure that food and essentials are constantly available.”
