Quebec Education Minister Jean-François Roberge announced on Sunday that due to school and daycare closures, they would be opening 400 sites as emergency child care centres where essential care service workers, like healthcare workers and firefighters, will be able to drop off their children. The minister told reporters they expect to serve more than 60,000 children.
