A Canadian woman from Quebec, Edith Blais, and her Italian travelling companion, Luca Tacchetto, who were suspected to have been abducted in Burkina Faso in December 2018 were released this week. Canadian Foreign Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne confirmed Saturday that Blais would be returning home soon.
