Coronavirus outbreak: Panic buying causes toilet paper shortage at Costco store in Georgia

Toilet paper was purportedly sold out at a Costco store in Catoosa County, Ga., on March 13 amid panic buying brought on by fears of the COVID-19 outbreak. Videos of empty supermarket shelves and people rushing to stock up on basic items, such as toilet paper, have appeared online from the U.S., Australia and Europe in recent weeks.
