When speaking to reporters at the White House about the COVID-19 outbreak on Friday, U.S. President Donald Trump said that he had not spoken with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about closing the Canada-U.S. border in an effort to control the spread of the virus, adding that he was “surprised” to find out that Trudeau’s wife, Sophie, tested positive for COVID-19.
