European Union President Ursula von der Leyen said on Friday that blanket travel bans are not the best way to combat the spread of COVID-19, according to the World Health Organization. President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday night that the U.S. would be banning travel to and from 26 European countries for 30 days starting March 13.
