When speaking about how the Toronto government is responding to the continued spread of COVID-19 on Thursday, Toronto Mayor John Tory said that he will be leading an effort to determine the economic impact of the virus and how the government can work to protect the city’s economy. Tory stated that he has already begun speaking with federal and provincial finance ministers.
