Speaking to reporters on Thursday regarding Nova Scotia preparedness and planning for COVID-19, Dr. Bethany McCormick from the Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) said there is no information on the number of ventilators available now in the province, but the NSHA is coordinating with critical teams to increase ventilators’ availability at hospitals throughout the province.
