The travel industry has been one of the hardest hit sectors since January 30th, when the coronavirus now known as COVID 19 was declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern by the World Health Organization. In the past week, countless conferences and mass-attended events have been cancelled. Federal health notices, travel advisories and bans are being updated several times a day. With March Break approaching, we spoke with longtime travel agent and agency owner Mary LaRocque about the latest on handling travel insurance and holiday scheduling.
