Speaking to reporters in Ottawa after Tuesday’s Question Period, Health Minister Patty Hadju said she wants to reassure Canadians that the wider risk from COVID-19 is still low “because we don’t have a credible community transmission.”
She added that the government will know when community transmission begins to happen, “and will let Canadians know” and will continue to give them daily updates.
