Coronavirus outbreak: CDC director says 2021 fiscal budget allocates $7 billion USD to their agency

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Director Dr. Robert Redfield spoke at on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday about the CDC’s upcoming budget, as the COVID-19 virus continues to spread throughout the country and worldwide. Redfield said President Donald Trump’s 2021 fiscal budget provides $7 billion to the CDC to support various operations supporting public health.
