COVID-19: U.S. cases climb, states weigh stronger response

New York state reported 16 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, and the governor of Washington state said he was considering mandatory measures to help curb the spread of the virus, which has killed 19 people in the United States. The outbreak has killed more than 3,600 globally.
