Travelling by train is, in some parts of the country, the only option outside of flying. But with few security procedures in place, there’s been a recent influx of safety concerns on board some Via Rail trains, including attacks with weapons. As Megan Robinson reports in the first part of a Global News investigation, passengers and employees are often unknowingly at risk and one former service manager is speaking out.
