During a speech before the Canadian Club of Toronto on Friday, Canadian Finance Minister Bill Morneau said that the federal government will soon offer support for Canadians quarantined because of COVID-19. Morneau also said that the federal government is preparing to undertake measures to protect the country’s economy as the COVID-19 outbreak continues to cause unrest in global economic markets.
