Speaking on the floor of the United States Senate Thursday morning, Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blasted what he called the “shameful” remarks from Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer outside the United States Supreme Court, saying that they reveal an effort by Democrats to “bully” the highest court with threats of violence. McConnell was responding to Schumer’s Wednesday remarks at a rally outside the Supreme Court, while a high-profile abortion case was being argued inside.
