Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre explains value of reintroducing Bill C5

Introduced on February 4, Bill C-5 is a tweaked version of a previous private member’s bill, C-377, put forward by former interim Conservative leader Rona Ambrose in 2017.
If passed, the bill would provide all newly appointed provincial superior court judges with trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive training.
Lisa Clarke of the Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre tells Lindsay Biscaia why this move is so important.
