On Monday, Washington state Secretary of Health John Wiesman confirmed that there were 18 positive cases of COVID-19 within the state, as well as six deaths. Wiesman also stated that they are finding more cases which have been acquired locally, and it is important that all individuals take “steps to prevent the spread” of the virus.
