On Monday Wuhan, China, the centre of the COVID-19 outbreak, closed one of its 16 new hospitals that were rapidly constructed to combat the virus. Officials said there had been a drop in new cases in the city, reporting fewer than 200 in one day on Sunday for the first time since January.
