Asked about what he would tell people if they protested the proposed Northern Road Link project in a similar fashion to the protests over B.C.’s Coastal Gas Link pipeline, Webiquie First Nations Chief Cornelius Wabasse said Monday that he and the people he represents supports resource development, and working with the Ontario government. He stressed they were working to ensure proper environmental assessments and make sure the project takes the protection of the environment into consideration.
