On Monday, United States General Mark Milley said at a Pentagon briefing that the impact of COVID-19 on the U.S. military is “very minimal”, and that military laboratories are working “very consistently” to develop a vaccine for the virus. U.S. health officials have also previously stated that any vaccine is up to 18 months away.
