The man, Archie Paray, spoke with authorities and city officials after releasing the hostages following a stand-off with police for several hours. Paray had been a former guard at the complex, and outlined his grievances against his former superiors before asking the mayor if he’d go to jail or “the cemetery.” Police then moved in and subdued him.
