COVID-19: Churches close, military assists as South Korea surpasses 3000 cases

South Korea is grappling with the largest outbreak of COVID-19 outside of China, as new deaths took the toll to 20 on Sunday. Authorities stated that 376 new infections were confirmed, moving the tally to 3256 cases. Churches closed down across the region, and the South Korean military joined the country’s efforts to combat the outbreak.
