Indigenous Relations Minister says proposed arrangement will bring clarity to Wet’suwet’en nation and British Columbians

When speaking to reporters about the proposed agreement that was reached with Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs on Sunday, B.C. Indigenous Relations Minister Scott Fraser said that he had “never seen a more productive and respectful” meeting that led to the arrangement, which will be reviewed by the Wet’suweten’en community. Fraser added that it will bring “clarity” to both Wet’suwet’en people and British Columbians, and that it is “well overdue.”
