Gregory Mathieu, 22, along with several members of his family, received a cheque on Friday for $70 million from Loto-Quebec after purchasing the winning lottery ticket from the grocery store that he works at. Mathieu, who won the biggest jackpot in Quebec’s history, said finances were always a “huge stress” for him, but now he can “help others.”
