U.S. secretary of health calls Trumps COVID-19 response ‘aggressive’ during Black History Month event

During a Black History Month event at the White House on Thursday, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar spoke to attendees about the COVID-19 outbreak, thanking President Donald Trump for his “historically aggressive containment efforts.” Previously, Trump has downplayed the threat of the virus in the United States, contrary to what f the Center for Disease Control has forecasted regarding the outbreak.
