COVID-19: CDC director says xenophobia has ‘no place’ in public health

During a hearing with the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Thursday, CDC director Dr. Robert Redfield stated that “stigma is the enemy of public health” and that xenophobia has “no place” in international health response.
