On Thursday, NDP MP Alexandre Boulerice spoke about his party’s proposal to improve the federal media support fund, saying that “nothing has been done” regarding the government’s investments into the program, and that “newspapers cannot wait anymore.” He proposed to “speed up the program” and increase the tax credit for journalists salaries to 35 per cent.
