The World Health Organization’s director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Thursday that they had reached a “decisive point” in combatting the COVID-19 virus, warning countries to act aggressively to contain the illness. His warning is in response to more countries reporting new cases outside of China than the number confirmed inside. He added that several countries, including Norway and Greece, had reported new cases in the past 24 hours.
