Coronavirus outbreak: U.S. health officials say virus is less lethal than SARS or MERS

Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on Tuesday the novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19, has a lethality of roughly two per cent, which makes it less lethal than both the SARS outbreak and MERS.
