During Tuesday’s Question Period in the House of Commons, Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer called Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “weak” and said that quality has impacted the Teck Resources Frontier mine project, as he took “so long” to make any decisions on that now-abandoned project. Minister of Environment and Climate Change Jonathan Wilkinson said the company’s decision to abandon its oilsands mine project proves a “need” to work together to “deliver on climate action and on clean growth” to provide business certainty.
