On Tuesday, President of the Canadian Federation of Agriculture Mary Robinson addressed media in Ottawa about the negative impacts the railway blockades occurring across the country are having on the agricultural sector. Robinson calls the effects of the protests “widespread collateral damage” and said they are “grinding the entire industry to a halt” as farmers cannot receive the necessary propane and animal feed to do their jobs and tend to their animals.
