U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that India would buy US$3 billion worth of military equipment as the two countries deepen their defense and military ties. However, despite fanfare over his visit to the country, violent protests still broke out in Delhi over a new citizenship law that has seen demonstrations over the past several months.
