The number of drug deaths in B.C. is showing a sharp decrease but health officials are warning us not to become complacent. Nearly a thousand people died from an overdose in 2019 – a third less than the year before – but as Rumina Daya reports, it’s nearly the same number as when the provincial health emergency was first declared.
