On Friday, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders responded to a Washington Post report, confirming he was briefed by intelligence officials that Russia was attempting to interfere on his behalf in the Democratic Presidential campaign. Sanders called Russian President Vladimir Putin a “thug” and warned Russia to “stay out of American elections.”
